Fight With Your Sword

Rebecka Walter

God,

I will trust in YOU with all my heart, and I will not lean on my own understanding. In all my ways, I will acknowledge YOU, and YOU will direct my path (Prov. 3:5-6). I know that I can do all things through YOU who gives me strength (Phil. 4:13), for I know that YOU are the strength in my weakness (2 Cor. 12:9). I know, God, that YOU are my comforter, and that YOU comfort me in times of sorrow, so that, in turn, I can comfort others who experience the same thing (2 Cor. 1:4). I know, Lord, that when I am burdened, I can come to YOU and find rest (Mt. 11:28). I love YOU, dear Lord. YOU are my rock and my mighty fortress (Ps. 18:2). YOU are my shelter in the storm (ps. 32:7). YOUR plans for me are great (Jer. 29:11), and I will hold steadfast to YOUR Word (Heb. 10:23). Lord, YOUR Word will never return void (Isa. 55:11), and I know that all Scripture is God-breathed (2 Tim. 3:16). Without YOU, I am nothing (Jn. 15:5), but with YOU, I have every-lasting life (Jn. 3:16). Thank you for saving me from the ashes of my yesterday (Isa. 61:3), and preparing me for my beautiful destiny (Eph. 2:10).

Amen, Best Friend.

Princess, you never trudge through deep valleys alone. Declare the truth, and fight with the weapons God has given you (Eph. 6:17).
